One Hundred and Fouty Thousand

saturn

The faithful little car that could turned over to 140,000 miles tonight on the way home from small group.  Right before my very eyes at the corner of Summit and Kimball my Saturn reached this prestigious milestone.  It's so strange to see all those 9999s turn to 0000s and I noticed it the very moment of.  It was a very special time.

When I think about all the life that's happened both inside and out of the car in the last 8 years I get a little sentimental.  Who would have thought I'd stil own this car?   I bought my used saturn in Denver with just over 18k on it, now after one big move to the midwest, a road trip to Maine, a road trip to Philly, multiple trips to Nashville, 6 years recruiting for a college, 2 and a 1/2 years commuting to harvest and at least 5 significant out of state speeding tickets, my little car keeps plugging away...

Here's to you Goldie, you've been a good car.saturn saturn saturn

I'm so proud of you...and her. Mine just turned 82,000 the other day and not even 5 years old yet...

This past April I bought a fairly "cheap" Canon Powershot A620(about $200) and I use Google's Picassa(free and very fun to use) or Photoshop for my pictures.  Just been enjoying learning photography and I thank you for your kind comments!

If you ever found a way to share those pictures you took don't hesitate to let me know!  I would love to see them!  I went to NYC for the first time last year and it was an amazing place! :)

Thanks for stopping by and take care!
